SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COSMETOLOGY TEACHERS
HONORED WITH 2004 “ULTIMATE TEACHER AWARDS”

Los Angeles, CA – The 2004 “Ultimate Teacher” and “Ultimate 'Teacher-to-Teacher’” Awards were recently presented to four Southern California cosmetology teachers. Sponsored annually by Supercuts of Southern California salons throughout the region, the Ultimate Teacher Awards are a very 'unique’ recognition for those special teachers that have made a lasting impression on their former students (now Supercuts stylists). The awards were presented before hundreds of Supercuts top managers by Supercuts Corporate President, Mark Kartarik and Supercuts Franchisee Association President, Gary Grace during Supercuts recent Regional Managers’ Conference at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

According to Franchisee President Gary Grace, “What makes these awards unique is the fact that the winners are selected by the judges based on essay nominations. The nominations are written by our stylists who took the time to think back, sit down, and write about their experiences with, and their feelings about their former cosmetology teacher. Their words about why that teacher should receive an Ultimate Teacher Award were powerful. The nominations, as they always are, were written 'straight from the heart’ and movingly reveal the special qualities of the many teachers receiving nominations.”
